When we audit a local business website, we find the same six things almost every time.
Not because businesses are doing something obviously wrong. Most of these issues are invisible from the outside. They do not show up on the website. They show up in the rankings, in the lead volume, and in the conversion rate.
Google Business Profile is incomplete or inconsistent
Missing service areas, outdated hours, no photo uploads in months, unanswered reviews. Google uses this data to decide whether to show your business in local search and Maps results. Gaps here quietly cost you visibility every day.
No structured data tells search engines what you actually do
Schema markup is the language that lets Google, voice assistants, and AI tools categorize your services correctly. Without it, a dentist looks the same as a law firm to a crawler. Most sites have none, or have it set to the wrong type.
The site loads too slowly to hold mobile traffic
A Lighthouse test on most small business sites returns mobile scores between 30 and 55. Pages taking over 3 seconds lose more than half their visitors before loading. Google measures this and it directly affects where you rank.
The business does not appear in AI-generated local recommendations
AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews now answer local queries directly. They pull from structured content, not ranked pages. If your content is not written for extraction, you are absent from the conversation.
Lead follow-up is manual and slow
Most inbound leads go cold within the first hour. When follow-up depends on someone checking a form submission, calling back between other tasks, or copying contact details into a CRM manually, the response time stretches to 24 hours or more.
There is no clear data on which channel is actually driving customers
Without properly configured analytics and attribution, you cannot tell whether your customers are finding you through Google, Maps, a referral, or a directory. You cannot optimise what you cannot see.
The free audit checks for all six. You will get the findings in your inbox within 24 hours.
No sales call required. We send the report whether you work with us or not.
Two practice areas. One goal: more customers with less manual work.
Most agencies handle only one side of the problem. We cover how you get found and how your business runs once people find you.
Search now happens across Google, voice assistants, and AI tools like ChatGPT. Growth covers how you show up across all three, plus the website that converts visitors once they arrive.
01
Search Optimisation
Google, voice, and AI answer surfaces
Search has split into three separate surfaces and most businesses are only visible on one. Google results are just the start. Voice assistants pull from structured content, not ranked pages. AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity generate their own answers and pick which businesses to reference. We cover all three: technical SEO to fix what is stopping you from ranking, Answer Engine Optimisation so voice assistants quote you directly, and Generative Engine Optimisation so your business shows up when someone asks an AI for a recommendation in your city.
Where most agencies fall short
Most agencies stop at Google. They ignore voice and AI search entirely, which is now where a growing share of buying decisions actually start.
02
Web Design and Development
Next.js, not templates
A slow or confusing website costs you customers before they ever contact you. A website built on a page builder or templated CMS gives search engines mixed signals and rarely scores well on Core Web Vitals. We build on Next.js from the ground up because it is fast by default, renders correctly for search crawlers, and lets us build exactly what your customers need without working around platform limitations. Every layout decision is made with conversion intent in mind, not aesthetic preference.
Where most agencies fall short
Most agencies build on Wordpress with bought themes. Sites look acceptable but load slowly, rank poorly, and have no conversion logic built in.

Six things that are different about working with us.
These are not values or mission statements. They are the specific ways we operate that make the relationship work differently from a standard agency engagement.
Audit before anything else
We run your website through a full technical audit before we talk about scope, pricing, or timelines. The report comes to your inbox. You know exactly what is broken before you commit to anything.
You talk to the people doing the work
No account managers between you and the team. No one who 'passes your feedback along'. The developer or strategist handling your project is the person you message when you have a question.
Month to month, cancel any time
We do not use 6 or 12-month retainer agreements to hold clients in place. If the work is not producing results you can see, you should be able to leave. That pressure keeps us accountable.
We tell you what we cannot do
If your site has issues that are outside what we can fix, or if your market is more competitive than the budget allows for, we say so. You do not find out three months in after the retainer has started.
Fixed scope, no surprise invoices
Every project is quoted with a defined scope before work starts. If something changes the scope mid-project, we flag it and agree before touching it. You will not receive an invoice that is larger than what you approved.
Reporting you can actually read
We do not send PDF reports with graphs that require an analytics background to interpret. You get a short written update each month that says what changed, what we did, and what is next. Plain language, not dashboards.
